The other Farm

This weekend I am going to my familes other farm. It is in a small town, and the towns population is 51. The towns name is Ashburn. While I am up there I am going to do some Squirrel hunting and turkey hunting, but while I am doing that I am going to be scouting for deer season. The farm always has good memeroys such as the time I got to carry the first deer I ever killed up there over my shoulder for the mile walk back to the house or the time my grandpa and I shot at a deer 5 times each and neither of us hit it. No matter what farm it is it always feels like the right place for me wehther it is the one in Hillsboro or Ashburn.

Vana-Banana

Once upon a time there was a van and it travled back and fourth a cross South American through small villages and big cities, and in every city the man driving the van would find the 100 poorest people and line them up. The people that had never had this done to them were always scared wondering if they were in trouble or not, but the man in the was not harming the people, but he was helping the people. The man in the van would tell the people to close their eyes and turn around and not to open their eyes or turn around until the van was gone. Once the van left and the people turned around they were blessed with tons of Bananas.

The Farm

This weekend I am going to my familes farm in Hillsboro. My buddy Blake and I are going to do some Squirrel hunting and Dove hunting. During the middle of the day i'm going to be mowing the fields and doing whatever work needs done. In the middle of the day we are going to finish putting up deer stands and hopefully this year my buddy blake will get his first deer. over the summer I took him hunting for the first time and he shot his first squirrel. So this weekend should be fun even if we don't get any Doves or Squirrels.

I'll Never Forget

Something I will never for get at this age is all the things that my parents to for me. They pay for me to play baseball and do most of the things I want to do such as go on hunting trips or baseball games or anything else really. My parents sometimes get mad at me for always being gone and never being home thats ok atleast I'm having fun. I belive that my parents and other adults have forgotten these things because they never had the chance to do the things that I do.

Bow Huntin

Today after school I am going bow hunting. I went on Tuesday, but I decided to pass on several deer and very nice ones. This time i'm shooting the first thing that comes out even if it is a doe. This time of year I usually hunt does anyway because I would rather hunt the big bucks during the rut. This time of year you can pattern the deer easily so it makes it easier to hunt because you can pattern the deer and know the time they are coming by the stand that you are huntin.

Nine Eleven.... Well I guess you can call it one of the worst days in North America's history. On that day is when many brave men and women lost their lives trying to save people or trying to save their lives. On that day my father was deployed to Iraq. Well I guess you could say life's been different since then.On that day not only were the twin tower hit but so was the pentagon.

Dove Season

September first was opening day of dove season in Missouri. Unfortunately I didn't have time to go hunting that day, but this weekend I am going every chance I get. Doves are a very fast flying bird, but a big enough to hit with a shotgun while flying well over 40 MPH. I use a 12ga when hunting them but many other shotguns can be used while hunting them. When hunting them I also use steel shot because it is not poisonous and bad for the environment.

Bow Season

In about 2 weeks the Missouri Bow season starts!!! I am pumped last year I got my first deer with a bow it was a small button buck. I have shot 5 deer including 2 10 pointers, but that deer is the deer that I am still most proud of. On the morning hunt that day I had an 8 pointer and a does come in at 30 yards and I didn't shoot. I still regret not shooting at him, but I have trail cam pics of him this year.

Authority: The town council has the authority to wake everyone up at the crack of dawn. Zach can keep ringing the  bell until  everyone gets up. Taylor has the rights to say what she wants to say. The red team can clean up while the other teams sit there. The town council has the Authority to do something about the trash. The town council can bring whoever they want to up to burry the trash.

Groupthink: The yellow group refuses to get up. The yellow tean thinks just because their the upper class, they don't have to do anything. Jared is mad because no one on his team is doing anything. Taylor and layla are being drama queens about the trash thing. The town council are getting mad because no one is doing anything.

Conformity: The yellow group has to get used to get up. The other teams need to step up and do their job. Taylor has to go dig trash. The whole town needs to step up and start doing there jobs. Due to Taylor and Layla not doing the trash job, the town council has to bring in more people.

Tonight, my sister is graduating. Which means I have to wear a dress tonight -.- ewe. I hate wearing dresses. I look stupid in them. Honestly I didn't even think my sister was going to be graduating. I thought I was going to be the first one to graduate. But I'm still proud of her. She's come very far from where she started at, at the beginning out the year. I really don't wanna wear a dress, but I have to because its my sister. My mom is also making me wear heels. Oh no. I'm going to brake my neck. Their honestly not that tall of a heel, but I'm very uncoordinated person, so knowing me, I'm going to fall. Anyway, my dress is strapless, and black at the top, and it flows down into cheetah print. It's not that the dress is ugly, in fact I really like it. I think its cute. I just don't like dresses. And dresses don't like me.

Something that really bugs me is.....

The thing that bothers me the most is when people correct me. Just like no. stop. I meant what I said. They always correct me on spelling errors. Or even when I'm speaking. Like this morning, In first hour, this girl correct me, because we were talking about the movie were watching in Social studies. The book had people in it, but the movie had mice as the people. Well I said I liked the movie, but I wish they weren't mouse's. She said you mean you like the movie because we haven't finished watching it. And you mean mice. It just really bothers me. Just like stop. You aren't a English  teacher. You don't have to worry about what I say, and how I say it. Actually, It just bothers me when people talk to me period. I don't even know why. It just dose. It honestly makes me crazy.

So, last night I dyed my hair. Last night was really crazy. So first off it took me about a hour to even convince my mom to even let me dye it. At first I wanted to go pink, but she wouldn't let me, so instead I went with a dark purple. My mom didn't know what color I was even going to dye my hair because I knew if I asked her she would've said no. So I didn't even tell her until we got home. So, me and heather went to go buy the hair dye. My grandma dropped us off. She was going to come back and get us. But 30mins past, and she still hasn't came. I tried calling her, but my phone died -.- of course. So we waited for like 45mins and just as we were about to walk home, she pulled up. So when we got home, we started bleaching my hair. That part turned out okay. Then it was time to put the purple in. So we sat there and waited until I was supposed to take it out. But my head started to burn, so I took it out early. So we went to go rinse the dye out. But that part didn't turn out so well. We had dye all over the place.

My birthday is in 6days!!!!!! I'm so excited! Its May 18! I'm getting my tounge, and my nose pirced! But I might not get my tounge pierced, because I'm kind of scared. A lot of people told me that I could die from it, and even get paralyzed! But I'm not forsure, I haven't decide. But anyway, if I don't get my tonged, then I'm getting my belly button pirced. I haven't fully decided on what I wanna do for my birthday, because I have many choices. I wanna spend the weekend at my cabin, but my mom dosen' like camping, so I would have to get my sister to go. But she works so  Im not forsure about the cabin thing. My other choice, is to just go swimming at my cabin. I told my mom we didn't have to stay there, I just wanted to go swimming in the river. But she said she doesn't know, because its a long drive down there, and back. My other choice is to go to the Zoo, then the boat house. But last time I went boating, I was really scared, so I' not forsure. I don't really know what I wanna do for my birthday.

Kid Nation 7

Deviant:  Jared knocked down the stand Divad had. Greg is getting upset about the dishes. And yelling at people because they wash the dishes. Greg made this little boy cry. Jared is being rude about him making money.



Anomie: Jared is getting upset over Divad. Greg isn't getting along with anyone. No one can get Greg to stop being rude. Everyone is fighting, and hardly anyone is getting along. Nathan is the only one who is doing laundry.



Stigma: Jared is being a stigma about the situation. Sophia mad "vomit" looking stuff, and hid 50 cents in the pot. and told people to dig in there to get it. Greg is being rude to everyone because they aren't doing the dishes. Jared is being a showoff about his new outfit.

Kid Nation 5

Group:  Taylor and her friends aren't wanting to do their jobs. Anjay has people running against.  The town council are getting runed against. The pioneers are upset because the council didn't pick the meat. There is now a new town council. Things should be getting better now.

Conflict: The yellow team wont wake up, and do there work. Anjay is trying to get people up, but they wont listen. The blue team is going against Anjay. Anyjay is mad due to people running up against him. Mike is  getting mad and said "its not that easy." because Galen is going against him. Olivia is being rude about Anjay winning.

In-group: Yellow team thinks they can lay in bed, and get up when they want to. Taylor finally started listening to her team. The red team is tearing down tailor's posters. The blue group voted back for Anjay. The red team voted out Mike, and put in Galen. The green group is keeping Laurel. The Yellow group voted out Taylor.

Kid Nation 4

Status:  Alex is in charge of a survey. Morgan is being everyone's  friend. Dk is tired of not having a high enough "pay check."  Yellow team wants to be the upper class. Jared likes to meditate instead of cheering. Zach thinks the younger kids are smarter than the older kids.


Right:  The town council, has the right to start having religious practices. Divad has the right to be against starting religious. Olivia refuses to do the  religious practices. Sophia has the right to be atheist. Greg has the right to be upset about the service.

Social Interaction:   Sophia isn't really getting along with anyone due to her attitude. Morgan is making everyone feel comfortable .Michele is trying to get along with everyone. Divad isn't very found of the green team. Sophia really wants to rub yellow teams face in the dirt.

Poorest President.

I think that it is outrageously kind of him to do that. Even the rich presidents don't donate. I think that this guy could use some money on himself but instead he uses it on other people. He could be like other people and keep it. He could be buying himself a new car. But instead he doesn't. He could be buying himself some new clothes, but he doesn't. I think he could donate a little less, because he needs to worry about himself a little more. He could donate like 80% or even 75%. Either way it would still be a lot of money he would be donating. This guy deserves a award. I think 90% is a lot of money to be donating. Mostly because he doesn't really make a lot of money as it is. Because he's a president, I think he should make a lot more. Also I think other presidents should be donating as well.

My Easter break went actually pretty good. Thursday I went to a bonfire. Friday I went to my sisters and we went ghost hunting. Yeah I know that sounds stupid but it was actually kinda fun. We went to this old haunted girl scout place. Then we went to the Christina House. Saturday I went to the I55 races. I'm glad there finally back! I've been waiting for ever for them. But this time wasn't really fun. I got dirt in my hair. Then on Easter, I went to the park in the morning and stayed there all day. Also hung out with Heather. Easter was pretty good. Expect the whole day me and my sister kept fighting. I had to do the water challenge. It was actually fun. And it wasn't very cold. Because my sister and I were fighting on Sunday, she felt bad. So today after school shes taking me to go get my nails done.

Kid Nation Episode 2

Culture:   There doing like old times, and thinking about killing a chicken for fresh meat. Sophia had to get the cuts/ blood out of the chicken with her bare hands. They have to use a water pump to get water. To be able to get a higher  salary, they have to win a challenge. To be able to eat better, they have to get to water unfrozen.

Drives:  Because they have no fresh meat, they have to change their ways, and kill a chicken to eat fresh meat. There not getting a lot of water due to the frozen water pump. They are having troubles sleeping due to the cold weather. They are trying to win a challenge so they can have more money, which means they will be able to buy more food. They yellow team will be cooking again, which means they will actually have to cook to be able to feed the town.


Society:  Some people are agreeing to chicken, and others are disagreeing. While everyone was eating the chicken, Emilie still was disagreeing with it. The other teams have to cook because of the yellow team doesn't want to get out in the cold. They have to start conserving water because the water pump is frozen. They have to unfreeze the water by themselves.

My Night With Sam.

I'm going to be blogging about my night with Sam last night. Oh man, you should've been there. First it start on the bus where Sam was taking swag fails. Lots of them. Then her and this kid got into a fight on the bus about that she couldn't tell her what he can do. Then we got off the bus singing a song. Her mom herd us all the way in the house, and yelled at Sam for being to loud. Then we went into the kitchen, were Sam made us food. Then her mom got mad because Sam wouldn't make her any food. So her mom went to bed. Then me and Sam watched a movie called Prom Night. Sam kept jumping and screaming like she was actually in the movie. It was hilarious. Then we made more food. Yeah we like to eat....

Kid Nation- Im trying to be a Leader

Perspective- Jimmy thinks he's going to die out there because there's nothing there. But some of the other kids think its going to be fun. Mallory thinks its gross, and doesn't think she's going to be able to sleep here. Taylor thinks its going to be hard because every one confused. Michal realized while they were trying to cook dinner, he has never done anything like this before.


Symbol- Mike put his hand up to show "excuse me" because he ran into some other guy. Mike was waving his hands in the air to try to get everyone's attention. Jimmy was raising his hand to try to ask a question. Michael was clapping his hands to show he was glad. Greg and Mike shook hands, to establish that they were okay, or that they were friends.


Power- The council gets to run things for 40 days. They will be able to control everything that happens. There's 4 leaders called the "town council." Taylor is getting upset because there's to much going on. Kids that aren't in the town council are trying to run things, which are making things harder on the town council.

          Hi!  My name is Jadyn Kelly. I enjoy playing volleyball, and hanging out with friends. Most of my free time, I hang out with my friends at the park. I'm obsessed with Instagram, snap chat, Lil Wayne, and Miley Cyrus. I'm so excited! On April 16th , I get to go to Miley Cyrus concert! If I'm not at the park, I'm listening to music. I listen to a whole bunch of different types of music.

         I also like watching movies. I watch alot of them. If I'm not at the park, or listening to music, I'm watching a movie. My favorite Disney movie's are  Tangled, Lilo and Stitch, and lion King. My favorite not Disney movie is, Ride Along. But my favorite Disney character is Olaf. He's off of the movie Frozen.

         My experiences with computers is okay. I don't really get on the computer. I use my phone. But when I am on a computer, my favorite thing is typing. To be honest  I don't really know why.

So far I really like this class. I hope we do lots of fun things!

Video Games

Video games do make kids more violent because, kids actions base on how they are grown up. If they grew up playing shooting game or fighting games theirs a chance their going to be more violent. If they grew up playing friendly games, they wouldn't be so violent. But that dosen't always mean that if you did grow up playing violent games, your going to be a violent person. It all depends on the person, and how their life was also surrounded by. Some kids who grow up playing violent games turn out okay. Also, the kids who did play the kid friendly games could turn out worse than the kids who didn't play kid friendly games.

Kid Nation

   I have no idea how they will survive. They look like they wont get along. They are doing pretty well for their first night. They are already breaking down.  For little kids they are doing rather well and they are learning how to survive. These kids fight a lot. I think by dividing into districts it will help them. They cry a lot. These kids are very competitive. The kids need to learn how to save up their money. Through out the whole time I wondered who would leave.  I cant believe they get a gold star worth 20 grand, how do they afford that star. Its hard to believe how many kids are working together when I cant even get along with my sister for 2 seconds.

TK

TK s my old school. It is located in Michigan. The school is very small but very clean. We have a lot of sports like football and stuff like that. TK stands for Thornapple Kellogg which is a mouthful. our grade average around the whole school is pretty high. We have a lot of fund raisers so the school makes a lot of money. Our football team is great, We always give it our all and hit as hard as we can. We also have a swimming team. Tk is in Middleville

Something that really bugs me

Something that really bugs me is people that think they are funny when really they are just being jerks. I'm  just  thinking why even talk If all you say is stupid stuff. But they just keep talking when every one is trying to tune them out. I think that if no one is listening or no one is laughing then what you are saying is probably not funny or rude. But people like that keep thinking that they are the center of attention and that what they are saying is so funny. That's why is bugs me, because it is mean and not funny. Most people don't care but I just cant ignore it. Its like why do you even talk when all you say is mean things.

Swimming

Competitive swimming is harder than most people think. Its a great sport because it gets you in shape and it works on your team skills. practice is brutal because You have to do so many laps and the swim techniques are hard to get. The butterfly is the hardest in my opinion

Being ordinary over Special

I agree with Europe. Being ordinary should be ok. Why would we have to be special, no one is special. We are different yes but not special. Ordinary is fine its ok. Not every one has the gift to be really good at something. If you are ordinary than so be it. If your special for some reason than good for you, but ordinary people have something special about them. Something that separates them from other ordinary people. Some people then might say that they are special when really they are just different. Which is good because no one wants to be the same.

Football

football is one of the greatest sports I have ever played. Its great to  hit people and put them on the ground, and you don't get in trouble for it. Its physical and your team mates have your back.  And you all have to play by the rules. There's no better feeling you get than when you slam someone to the ground. And the quarter back is like your leader, you have follow him and protect him. If someone is going after the quarter back then you should plow into him. But the other teams quarter back you want to destroy.

Seven doors

I would go to middle earth. The reason that I would go there is because everything would be simpler and cooler. It would be all Medieval and there would be all kinds of different people and creatures. And it would be fun to carry a sword around to defend myself. There would be monsters and villages. instead of regular money there would be gold. And you could have weapons with you and no one would care. The monsters would be fun to kill because they are evil, like orcs and stuff.

One thing I will never forget about being this age is how important it is to do well in school and to not slack off. If you are not paying attention in school and you are slacking off then you are going to do really bad in school and you are going to get held back. If you are going to land a career anywhere then you have to do well in school. But sometimes its hard to do well, so you need to keep trying and putting your best effort into you grades.

Practice Prompt 1 Tiny Turbine

This article is about a small turbine used to produce energy. The inventor Jung- Chih Chiao created this as a mobile power source. The turbines are made of flexible nickel alloy, and are 100 micros thick. Up to a thousand of these little turbines can fit in your phone sleeve. They can also be used as a phone charger, but it will only produce enough energy for a quick call or text. These turbines work the same as any other, by using wind power to make energy. Because so many of these turbines can be made at a time they will soon be able to get for a reasonable price.
